DonationsThe Lumpkin Coalition is a 100% volunteer 501(c)3 charitable organization with no paid officers or staff. We are entirely dependent on sponsorships, donations, and fundraising events to be able to pursue our mission. All contributions -- whether in the form of funds, materials, or services -- are fully tax-deductible. All donations will be used to help us to continue to raise public awareness of the Hemlock problem and promote action; provide ongoing support for the efforts of all three labs in Georgia that raise predatory beetles to combat the HWA on public land; assist private land owners and public agencies in managing the health of their Hemlock trees; and facilitate other projects that benefit north Georgia, Lumpkin County, its residents and visitors. Please consider helping us now to support this worthy cause. See below for: Monetary DonationsSend a check or money order payable to Lumpkin Coalition to the address below. Please be sure your name and address are included so we can send you an appropriate tax recognition form.Lumpkin Coalition Gifts in KindDonations don't always have to be in the form of money; they can be materials, services, and donated items too. If you would like to support the Coalition in any of these ways, please contact Forest Hilyer at 706-864-9003 or forest@lumpkincoalition.org to see what may be needed. Volunteer OpportunitiesOne of the best gifts ever is to give of yourself, and HemlockFest has lots of great opportunities to do that. For a list of the kinds of activities required to put the festival, please visit the HemlockFest Volunteers page. We always greatly appreciate all the volunteers' help and couldn't do HemlockFest without you. Plus, you'll have a super-good time, get a free ticket, and meet some other wonderful people -- we promise! |
